Parent & Kid Cooking Party

My youngest daughter, Ella (8), loves to assist me in the kitchen. And I love having her around.
She makes the most wonderful dip and crackers party starter snack and can handle a knife better than i often give her credit for.
For some time now she has been asking me to do a Cooking Party for kids and I found that to be a great idea.
So on behalf of my junior chef and my self, I hereby invite you to jon us for our first Parent & Kid Cooking Party hosted by The Norwegian Hausfrau.

Parent & Kid Cooking Party is for a parent and 1 child, ages 8 and up. This class allow you to work alongside your junior chef and then sit down and enjoy a meal together. There is also an option to bring a second child of age for an additional fee.

Menu: Goldfish (crackers) Salad, Spaghetti & Meatballs with Ellas Fresh Tomato Sauce, Ice Cream Surprise.

When: Sunday June 15th 2014, 13:00- ca.16:00

Where: Veriset Showroom Kitchen, Root.

Cost: 150chf for 1 parent and 1 child.
(includes food, drinks, recipes and a goodie bag for the child)

New Cooking Party in March

In March we will do a roast – wonderful for Sunday dinner, entertaining friends or on a buffet table.
Roast Beef - Easy to make and so full of taste!

As always, we will cook the meals together and eat together.
You will get hands on cooking training and me as your personal assistant.

There will also this time be a three course menu:

Starter: Arugula salad with Mango and Pine Nuts.

Main Course: Roast Beef , Oven baked Potatoes, Chimichurri and Pineapple Salsa.

Dessert: Chocolate Semifreddo with Orange and Mango salad.

WHAT TIME: Apéro starts at 18:30 and the evening goes till about 23:00

Festive Cooking Party in November

Cook your way into the festive season
- by attending The Norwegian Hausfraus Cooking Party on Thursday November 14′th.

Where: Veriset Test Kitchens, Root, Luzern (Switzerland)
What: together we’ll cook a three course feast menu.

At the November 14`th Cooking Party we will prepare for the festive season by creating a three course menu well worth inviting your friends and family over on.

A quick peak at the Menu:
* Crème Ninon with Champagne,
* Baked Salmon with herbs and caramelized lemons,
* Surprise Bonfire Dessert

Paired with the right wines and the right people (meaning you!) this should be quite a treat.

The evening costs 85 chf (including location, food, drinks, goodie bag and my preparations).

Summer Menu – Cooking Party!

This is were we will be cooking.

You are invited to a Cooking Party hosted by The Norwegian Hausfrau.
The party will take place in the gorgeous Veriset Kitchens in Root on Thursday June 20^th.

At this cooking party we will all be preparing and enjoying a meal together.
It`s hands on training to prepare you for having guests over this summer.
I will set up a light summer menu, show you how to prepare it and guide you through the process. Then we will sit down at a beautifully decorated table and enjoy the food we have created and each other’s company.
You will get to take home recipes of all dishes we make and a little goodie bag with special treats.

There are only 10 places for this evening so please hurry up and reserve yourself (and your friend) a spot.
You can do this by sending me a mail with your name and mail address.
